These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the QuitScroll mobile application ("App") provided by QuitScroll ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using QuitScroll, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
QuitScroll is a screen time management app that helps users reduce social media usage through self-imposed app blocking, usage tracking, and motivational messaging. The App uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls) to block apps at the system level on the user's own device.
QuitScroll offers both free and premium features. Premium features are available through auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.
We may offer a free trial period for premium subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription fee for the selected plan.

QuitScroll provides system-level app blocking using Apple's FamilyControls framework. By enabling this feature, you voluntarily choose to restrict your own access to selected apps. You can disable blocking at any time through the App. We are not responsible for any inconvenience caused by the blocking features you enable.
QuitScroll uses motivational and confrontational messaging (including "shame messages" and "guilt-trip tasks") as a behavior change mechanism. This content is intended to be humorous and motivational. If you find this messaging distressing, you can disable "Brutal Mode" in the App's settings or stop using the App.
All content, design, code, and features of QuitScroll are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we handle your data. In summary: all usage data stays on your device and we do not collect personal information.
QuitScroll is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
QuitScroll is not a medical or therapeutic tool. If you are experiencing mental health issues related to technology use, please consult a qualified professional.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
