QuitScroll ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the QuitScroll mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

QuitScroll operates entirely on your device. All data — including your app selections, streak history, usage statistics, and settings — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage frameworks (SwiftData and UserDefaults).

2. Screen Time & App Usage Data

QuitScroll uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks) to block selected apps and monitor usage patterns. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not accessible to us or any third party
• Is processed entirely by Apple's on-device frameworks
• Cannot be used to identify you or your specific app usage

Apple's Screen Time API uses opaque tokens to represent apps — we never see the actual names or identifiers of the apps you choose to block.

3. Subscription & Payment Data

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives:

• An anonymous app user ID (randomly generated)
• Subscription status (active, expired, etc.)
• Product identifiers for your subscription tier

We never receive or store your payment information, Apple ID, name, or email address through this process. For RevenueCat's privacy practices, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

4. Notifications

QuitScroll may send local notifications (usage reminders, shame messages, daily limit alerts). These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device — no data is sent to external servers.

5. Widget

The QuitScroll widget displays your streak data on your home screen. This data is shared between the app and widget using an App Group container stored locally on your device.

6. Analytics & Tracking

We do not use any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services. We do not track your behavior, location, or any other personal information.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, rent, or trade any user data with third parties. Period.

8. Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can:

• Clear all data from within the app's Settings
• Delete the app to remove all associated data

9. Children's Privacy

QuitScroll is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
